I consider myself very lucky to live close enough to several independent stores that bring in fantastic visiting artists. I’ve taken quite a few classes with Seth Apter at both The Ink Pad and Papercraft Clubhouse . This class was another fabulous workshop with Seth. We worked on 12″x 12″ canvases along with deli paper and acrylic paint. Probably my favorite part of the workshop (aside from seeing all of the finished work together at the end) was when Seth asked us to pick our favorite painted paper from what we had worked on, and he made us give it away to someone else in the class! It was a great exercise in not hanging onto “precious” pieces so that you are forced to use something that you feel may not be perfect.
